I posted my first thread earlier today. Some Forum members, in their INFInite wisdom , pointed out the errors of my ways..... I posted a thread of a knife from another maker..... I plead ignorance of proper protocol.

Sooooo..... Ladies and gents...... Allow me to rectify the error of my ways.

I seek forgiveness here:shame:

BTW, all of the blades pictured cut tomatoes EASILY. The only blade to cut the cheese was the AMSMO.
Oh! .... Also BTW.... "Cutting the cheese" has nothing to do with my user name :D

....and to the naysayers. Yes I've added a DOG to the family.... Would you be so cruel as to let a puppy out in this?

How is that AMS MO performing on vegetables?

Really good! I was keeping it in my pack sack for next summer but might as well use it. It has a thick spine so it takes a bit of getting used to. Cleans up more easily than the satin R3. Rodent was wickedly sharpened by Dave!.... Kitchen duty?.... I say USE THEM. Now I know why many of you cook so much!! ( drink too)

I included the nmfbm, AK, and Skizzy as a spoof. Well, the spoof was on me!

I've used all three on vegetation. Tall field grass for the AK47 and Skizzy. Logs for the nmfbm (also several 2x4 on a construction site, needed some stakes;) ).
The AK47 was matched in a field against a well sharpened Collins machete. I was surprised and pleased to conclude that it performed as well as the machete for cutting tall grass.

My best friend trimmed his entire hedge with his Skizzy. His hedges are 30 years old, span over 100 feet in length, and about 15 feet high. He admitted the blade could have been a bit sharper ( he's a sharpening freak ) but he did the entire job nonetheless. His sweaty palms ruined the handle wrap so he did a paracord job on it.

Guys and Gals.... Any of these blades are fine in the kitchen. The nmfbm surprised me the most!
Spent a lot of time with it on a strop, stropping bat ( with black, green, and pink paste). Even a sharpmaker!

I am a pleased Busseratdog!!!
Btw, I've never touched up the edge on the Skizzy....or AK
