I passed on the Waki because of the size, this one is right up my alley.

The AK/Waki always seemed a little bit too much for my tastes. This looks more practical to me. I'm thinking black with tan canvas to match my RMD.

I agree 100%....seems to be a nice size that you could attach to a pack and not get in the way too much.

Very cool!

I was just swinging my Waki around a few minutes ago, cutting some weeds and bushes mostly. The Rucki looks cool, and I'm guessing it's going to feel better for one handed use. And maybe even a good woods tool. That shorter handle would be very nice for single handed uses.

So the Rucki is male, and the Waki is the female? Are those pommels supposed to link up somehow? They look like they would fit together, but why are they like that?
