  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Rodent Solution

Mumbo see if they can make you a Rodent Trail with a drop point...same handle, longer blade. A few people here have done it. Also having these blades in the store this long was new for Bussekin

Well it makes perfect sense in the way Jerry does business and how he wants his product viewed. all his blades get discontinued eventually popular or not.
His blades hold their value and even increase in value over time. Even with his knives in high demand he has successfully avoided the "dime a dozen" image that many good blades have.
that's thanks to limited availability, availability only through Busse, and the high quality level.
over time your rodent solution will become more and more special and unique..

This is what I love about busse and busse kin. I have only been an owner for about a year but it is so cool to see the guys collections that have been into busse for years and they have an older model with all that character that is gained by the numbers being limited, especially when they have seen some use and love. It's also a kind of cool feeling when you have a knife that is discontinued (like the TGLB in my case) and you know one day it will be a classic that new Hogs say man I wish I had been around to grab one of those like I do now with some of the older models. All that being said it is tough to get your head around why they discontinue popular models but it's very cool in the long run. Just my .02 from a new hog
