I read a lot on these forums about bushcraft knives, and my general understanding of them is a versatile, small to medium, thin-bladed slicer.

If that is correct, then the Rodent Trail may the best Bussekin ever for bushcraft. My beloved Active Duty and Bandicoot are in danger of being supplanted by this knife
in the versatility category. Thin blade, slightly longer blade than the AD, and most importantly, a slightly longer handle. And thinner blade than the Bandicoot (one of the most underrated Swamp Rats ever.)

My advice: get one!

:thumbup:They're great, I got one with white bone scales in the Cupid Ganza, and it fits perfectly in the Skystorm Leather Rodent Solution sheath:)

I was really excited about this model. Totally agree that it is a great little knife. Handle is the same as the RS, which is one of my favorites, and a useful blade shape. I was only able to restrain from going hog wild on them only because me and satin sr101 just don't get along. Love the one I have and plan on taking it out soon

The Rats really hit a homerun with this one. Excellent knife all the way around.

I have to agree. I love the rodent Trail. It will become a constant companion.

I really like the RT also and would buy one if given the chance-even despite of SR101/satin, but when I think of the 'best' Busse bushcraft sized blade...for me its a satin Boss street with their hollow grind. Just my .02.

I would love a production run of this blade. It would replace my CABS
