I've seen the water bottle tests, but I didn't want to waste a whole case of water, so I decided to do a little bit of reduce, reuse, recycle, and use some stuff I already had...

See video of the waki in action here: (sorry about the lighting and poor video quality)

I have a higher quality version uploading to another site, and will add the link for that one if they ever get around to processing the stupid thing.

After the water bottles were demolished, I remembered that my fiance wanted me to take down the old bamboo awning in our backyard...

Here's the aftermath:

And now some glamor shots

And finally, we decided we wanted to eat some watermelon, so the waki got a little easier task to take on:

Thanks now I want a orange & black one :)

I would bet after every swing with this beast, you had a great big grin.

Now that's what I'm talking about!!!

Good video and soundtrack.

Thanks.

It is quite a lot of fun to swing. I'll probably collect some random snippets of video here and there as I use it, and then put together a longer collection of clips. I just threw this one together really quickly to get it out there.

I've got video of it taking out a watermelon in the kitchen, but it's not terribly impressive. I need to buy some produce specifically for destruction and chop it in more dramatic fashion in the backyard.

Make sure you get some squash or other hard shelled but oblong fruits or veggies to throw up in the air and dice them up while they fall.
