Rodent Waki Measurement

Hi All,

I received my two Wakis last week.

Black blade With Black Micarta and Arctic White blade with Black Micarta. They are awesome cutting tools.

However, it has come to my attention that the blade of my wakis are indeed 17" instead of 17.5" (official swamprat measurement)

Does this discrepancy exist because my measurement method? Tip to the Edge of the Micarta handle?

Since i am away from my camera, i will use Eric's picture for your reference.

IIRC because of a court ruling in Ohio (where they are made) the blade measurement must be taken to the guard not to the edge of the micarta.

Don't quote me as I'm going from memory but I'm pretty sure this is correct.

I will post some pick of my black and white Wakis once i got my camera back.
