Another one I posted awhile back that no doubt had some wonderful photo's from Rodrigo. Coop's photo is just so good I thought I would share it one more time.

Rodrigo's words: "This full integral fighter with India influenced design was forged with 9" blade and 14" overall length in explosion damascus composed of O1/15N20 steels. The carved ricasso and fuller, emphasize the double hollow ground edges. The handle is ebony, with high relief carving of scrolls and leaves, adorned with 18K gold pins, and persian ears. The sheath is water buffalo leather, carved and adorned the same way as the handle, and with rough shark skin central inlay, and damascus button."

An absolutle pleasure to see this one again, especially the beautiful Coop image.
A fine knife and sheath.

Congratulations Jon and Rodrigo.

Drop dead gorgeous !
Mad skills, clearly shown in Coop's masterful image.

Thanks, Jon.

I'm guessing that this is an early front-runner for Bladeforums Best Bowie 2010.

I'm having a hard tie envisioning any way to improve this knife, I love everything about it. The new pictures show it off well, thanks for posting them.

Jon, you are a deserving steward for this heirloom. What a piece!

There is goodness in every curve and it's filled with technical mystery. Such appeal.

This shot is unconventional, too. I had to shoot at a low angle to include the integral transition of the blade into the guard. Of course lighting is key to show those carvings. The sheath is part and parcel of the experience, and I chose to shoot it 'backwards'. Turn it over and there just wasn't enough room to glorify that handle again.

(This knife could be shot on a piece of asphalt roof tile and it would still elicit oohs and ahhs ;))

Three pitches and three runs scored! Congrats, Jon!

WOW! Another masterpiece, literally AND figuratively.

I would be VERY interested to see how the blade/handle assembly is done.

The last few knives have shown extreme precision at that junction.

Congrats again Jon!

Hello Guys, thank's for the comments. Thank you Jon for asking coop to shot it and posting here. Congratulations Jim, wonderful job as always. Peter, the handle where assembled in the old "ground and try the fit" fashion way.

All the best!
