Alright, Mark -- these are about the most amazingly colored mammoth ivory bark knives I've seen. The Mnandi inlays remind me of earth's images from orbit. Congrats!

After much waiting and looking around I got a Mammoth Ivory Mnandi, which arrived today. Here's a couple of pictures from out in the field where I was loading new line onto my fishing reel. That's it's partner in the standing Sebenza picture. They're both from the end of 2005 and the inlays are well matched.

Skol!

That Mnandi is indeed a little bit special, mine is just the cream white ivory.

Thanks fellas,

I had to rush the earlier pictures as I was busy getting two spools filled out with new line on my spinning reel for the incoming fishing season so I forgot to picture both knives together.

The Mnandi is a special knife, alright. Although I have been collecting large Sebenza folders recently, the Mnandi is just perfect for dress carry while still being able to do any work you'd want to use it for. I see it as a little Sebbie and feel it is every bit as practical.

I couldn't believe my luck when one came up for sale which was made just after the 2005 small Sebbie I already own. They're a nice pair for lighter carry. Here's both of them together, earlier today -

Cheers again for the support. It's good to be one of the many CRK admirers :D

Absolutely Beautiful Mammoth Ivory Mnandi and Sebenza. Great Pics As Always. Thanks For Sharing !!!

I may as well show them here too, so here are both knives on their own. I took the small Sebbie pics around a fortnight ago and the Mnandi just a few minutes ago.

I'm really getting into the old Mammoth Ivory :D

Those are both beautiful but, man, that Mnandi is simply extraordinary - easily some of the best mammoth ivory I've seen on any knife (custom or production)!:thumbup:

I still admire the uncompromising heroism of your collection Mark

But with the arrival of the mammoth Mnandi, it is possible it might just turn into soul consuming envy :)
