Roger Green Knives

Is Roger Green still making knives? I haven't seen or heard anything about him for a couple of years. He made some fine looking bowies.

He took over from D.E. Henry, was given his patterns drawings, etc.
He made excellent Bowies, but I heard he retired from it.

I don't know what he is doing now

I miss Roger. He was really good. Roger was known for his exceptional hand-rubbed finishes. I took a class from him many years ago on hand-finishing.

See that fixture he's using? I talked him out of it the same day this photo was taken. I still use it today.

Terry I think the class stuck with you. Maybe that's what I need, sometimes I think I work way too hard getting a decent, even finish...

At Johnny Stout's place a few years ago.... Last I heard, Roger got a divorce. Then he got a motorcycle; in that order. No one has seen much of him since......
