I've been eyeing this one for awhile now.I've wanted a "Top of the Heap" damascus bowie ever since Kohai999 stopped by my place and showed me his INCREDIBLE Kevin Cashen Damascus bowie.I was shocked at how light and well balanced it was,Not to mention the pattern Blew me away.Anyway I plunked down the cash and paid for overnight shipping and this beast arrived during my morning ritual of Coffee/Cigarette getting the old heart pumping start of the day.I was beyond happy with it.Once again, the Ladder pattern on this one Blew my doors off. It's light, well balanced, and Wicked-Just Like Me(ok,I'm exaggerating the me being well balanced part).Check out the pic.The guard & Ferrule are NS,handle is Desert Ironwood:cool:

I remember when Roger had that one on his table. The handle is a killer chunk of ironwood. Good score! Heck, anytime you can obtain one of Roger's knives, you've got a winner. :)

Thanks for finally putting me out of my misery on that one.

Me too!

When you ask the top ABS collectors about their best knives, Roger's name always comes up. He is a top value and a top maker who has taught many of the best up-and-comers what they know.

Congrats for joing the club. Its a small one--Roger doesn't make many knives!

Hey Roger & Anthony,One of the Main reasons I bought it is because I knew you guys were tormented over it,just sitting calling out.Or maybe those were just the voices in my head :D -

Roger

Amen. I have thought long and hard about that beauty, not only a gorgeous knife, but also a very good investment. Roger's prices are headed north and his Damascus work is rare and commands a healthy premium. An OUTSTANDING acquisition! IMHO
