I`ve had one on order since April and want to know if I should wait any longer. Is this a good hawk ? I have written and called with no word from Bear mountain, the seller.Are they still in business ? With delivery and customer service like this they must not be. Any sugggestions where I could get one in a reasonable amount of time ?

Stop over in the Manufacturers section of the forums and post in the Bear Mountain section. Suzanne's daughter has been very sick lately and has just gotten back into the office to start returning emails, phone calls, and posts.
I don't have one, but I know they are good 'hawks. Well worth the wait. Heck, for one of Two Hawk's (may he rest in peace) tomahawks, the wait was well over a year, and I've got a 10 month wait ahead of me for a Nessmuk I just ordered from Lee Reeves. For good quality tomahawks, expect a wait. :thumbup:

I own a bear mountain frontiersmen which is similar to the rr hawk and it's definitly a good hawk. In the past their customer service has been tremendous, to my knowledge they are still in business, i agree with FSCJedi that you may have luck in their section of the forum. Hopefully all will be well soon with Suzanne, her daughter, and Bear Mountain. In my opinion Bear Mountain is a great company and they make a great hawk so i'd say it's worth the wait. Hope it works out for you.
