Well, Dana did it again. It truly is a pleasure to do business with a company who puts out a top notch product at a REASONABLE PRICE! He builds tools that are meant to be used and not just set on a mantle and looked at. Here is my Roger's Ranger hawk I just received from him with a throwing knife.

His rawhide wrapped handle:

And his leather work is second to none as well.

You definately cannot go wrong with a Fort Turner in terms of getting what you pay for.

Here is my custom poled Iroquois with a pup hawk I ordered from Dana earlier this year. I ordered both hawks with sheaths as well.

Thanks Dana, you have made me just one happy camper! Blutck.

The rogers' rangers looks great. I just ordered a custom spiked hawk from Dana as well and can't wait to get it. It will probably take some time though... :( But its good to see some more pics of FT hawks other than the ones from the site store.. There aren't really any on the net... Thanks for posting...

That hawk just grows on ya the more you look.....

Too many irons in the fire right now, but later on there's gonna be one in the collection.

Is the nife a Fort Turner too? How is that working for you? Can you throw it well yet? Tricky, isn't it.

Because I've been contacted about this more than once now.....

Bear Mountain Tomahawks also makes the Rogers' Rangers Spike Tomahawk and has since the line was purchased from American Tomahawk Company who started producing the hawk in 2001.

There has been some confusion because Fort Turner has also named their hawk the same name with the same design. They are not making our hawks and we are not selling theirs.

Yes it is a Fort Turner knife as well. It is very well made but I have not had a chance to do alot of throwing with it yet. I am waiting for the weather to get a little nicer so I can make a good throwing back board.

The rivets on the leather, on H&B throwing knives after you throw a lot the leather handle kinda loosens up a bit but a flat head tightens it up

I've been eyeballin' the Fort Turner hammer pole. I have a few hand forged throwers but I want something to replace the hatchet I lost. I like tomahawks as the handle is easily replaced when broke and thier just plane fun to throw. I need something that will take the abuse of chopping wood and other camp chores. The hawks I own really aren't made for work, not as funtional as they are just fun.. I have to say the Fort Turner hammer pole is on the top of my list , not to mention the low price. Great pics blutck !

lookin good, I wouldent mind having one of those hawks.

I just got my FT in today, havent been able to use it yet but I will say their customer service was second to none.

Brody - They are solid copper rivets that have not loosened off yet. If they did, I would just re-peen them to tighten them back up.

(Sorry it took so long to get back)

I have to echo the words of Blutck..following all the advice on here i went ahead and ordered the FT Roger's Rangers Hawk. It took a while but Dana kept in touch throughout and when it eventually arrived in the Uk i was very pleased with the result  . The hawk is well balanced and came with a razor edge out of the box. I have to say i've done a bit to the standard hawk and leatherwork as you can see. The hair on the rawhide grip was rubbing my hand red so i re-covered the handle with 5mm natural suede strip wound round tightly and then replaced the leather button on the sheath with an antler crown. I think it looks good and the suede, whilst kinder on my hand, adds a very secure grip to the handle. I can't recommend Fort Turner enough!
