Hey Andy if this sheath is brown, why does it look black and match your belt, which I am sure is black nylon? Looks nice though. Is the shoulder strap removeable if not needed?

It's brown, and the lighting just makes it look darker...if it were a lighter background, it would probably stand out more. Yes, the shoulder strap is easily removed and the height of the sheath on the strap is adjustable.
