Are you referring to that one Video on U tube, where the guy calls TGLB a Kabar on Steroids? WTF? Really ?

i was talking about the fact it looks like a ka-bar with the cross gard and fuller. i have noticed there hasn't been a busse that resembles the 119 and i think the 119 is a great bush-craft hunting knife. im not saying to take someones design but the size, tip, and fuller on a busse would make a great EDC.

OP : you may want to edit your post, that emoji isn't allowed on this forum.
And to answer your question, check out the scrapyard regulator

That "jerk it" emoji is part of the vBulletin basic smiley package. Dunno why, but it created problems among members through usage, so on this forum we don't permit its use since we can't just remove it as a choice. :)

Thank you for editing it out.

No worries, but check out the Regulator, exactly what you're looking for

I looked up the regulator i like it but i don't actually own any rats or dogs. i have hogs and custom hogs. the handle on the dogs turned me off personally. But if Jerry came out with that in INFI with a custom or Busse mark on it and a G-10 handle. i would have to have it.

It turns you off? You ever actually hold a res C handle? Comfortable as hell.

I personally don't enjoy the Res-C handles either. I would like a Regulator with G10 too..i want this:

How about........................

3/16" thick
9" long SYKCO American Regulator blade with a High Saber grind
Battle Shark Coffin handle and pommel with Team Gemini Crusader pointed guards
INFI
Nuclear Meltdown treatment

This is my dream knife

I've held and used Res C. I'm underwhelmed by it.

Don't get me wrong... It ain't bad. I just don't like it. I'm doing my dead level best not to cancel my BB13 order. My problem: it has a Res C grip. So I can sympathize with the OP on his lack of zeal for the Regulator. Likewise, I can sympathize with his zeal for a Regulator type knife with… firmer grip.

Took the damn words right out of my mouth!!!!!

My issue is the texture...it just doesn't feel nice to hold IMO!

IT certainly isn't pretty, many not feel so nice and in general, compared to micarta it looks cheap. However, when you look at performance, it really works. It soaks up vibrations very well, it locks in your hands really well, it is also at a lower price point which helps as well. They make great beaters.

Get that BB13 and flog it senseless! Punish that terrible ResC for being underwhelming :D Maybe after a good belting you'll see why it is what it is. :)

I'll take your advice Rob.

I've personally never had a problem with vibration if I use the blade properly (hitting in the proper spot, the sweet spot).

These are my sentiments exactly, I ordered 2 of the BB13's to beat on period-If I was buying a knife to add to my collection and NOT USE it, I would not have purchased the BB13-However as a user the Res-c is hard to beat, not pretty, but very, very effective-The BB13 should be ONE of the very Best Choppers Busse has ever Offered-Cheers!!!

I agree with everything you said and some. I actually like the way it looks.. The texture just doesn't do it for me. I'll either tape it up or wear a glove or something, i don't know but i'm still giving the BB13 it's chance to be my number one beater (especially after just selling my NMFBM........:o:()
