Hey Emerson nuts,

I have always had these "what if" Emerson models in my head and lately I have been playing around with some reblade ideas. Rolf came to me with a concept of a straight backed, righty grind 7 blade with a ti thumbstud. This one is made out of 01 tool steel.

BTW, Mr. Emerson said this was cool as long as the wave feature was not included.

I have always wanted a CQC7 with this blade design and Nick delivered.
Need I say, do not hesitate to have Nick make you a reblade, your way.
I should have my knife tomorrow.
 
Nice blade, good clean lines, but I just feel the stud limits your left hand use. Your knife, your method, and it certainly is a one of a kind now.
 
Alright thats a beautiful blade and a right hand chisel to boot! Looks like it'll be a great user!
 
Rolf, I can understand your feelings about the thumb disc, some people just dont dig em, but why no wave bruh? I'm not a HUGE fan of the wave myself because it often causes the blade to open accidentally but I can appreciate its usefulness in deploying a blade as rapidly as possible. Dont you feel you are losing some of the magic that makes Emerson the #1 choice in SD folders?

Mark- Ernest gave Nick the green light to make this reblade but asked Nick not to incorporate the wave. I never really used the wave anyhow. :eek:
Doug- I don't care which side the grind is on! As long as the blade will cut yer azz, and it will:D, that works for me. :)

If that ones a user, could we have a perormance review? I bet it can slice a tomato without even touching the tomato.

Nick told me this 7 nicer in person... it is.
Centered blade. Precise early lock up. The workmanship is flawless! And, this is my sharpest folder. :cool: You guys need to get a Rossi reblade. Don't even think about it.
