3 weeks away! Who else is coming this year?
 
Summerland, My son and I are planning to go on Saturday. I am hoping Jeff Hall will be back this year as I enjoyed looking at his knives and talking with him...Ed.

last time I was there, the high points included: Matthew Lerch, David Broadwell, Jeff Hall, Phillip Booth, Kevin Cashen, Bub Worrell, Zaza Revishvili, Dale Reif, Mark Nevling, Chuck Hawes, Ed Lary, John Greco, and many more. Good stuff on the purveyors' tables too.

Bob Schrap (the sheath maker) is the coordinator, and does a fine job. The show is a lot of fun, and so is dinner at Damon's on Sat. with other forumites and makers.
 
I plan on attending also Saturday and Sunday.

Phil Hartsfield was there last year and I saw him sell a 3 sword set priced at about $12,500.00 got to talk to him and John Greco. Both professionals and gentlemen.

Our club hosts a silent auction at the door and you should really stop and bid if you see anything you like. Historically some of the knives go for under their assessed value and the profits go to fund the show.

We also have a great bunch of retail dealers and as with all shows check the table I have got some really great deals in the past.

As was also mentioned stop and talk to Bob Schrap if you get a chance. He is a great sheath maker and the president of our Badger Knife Club. He just loves to talk knives too.

Lastly we have a lot of local knife makers that make some great custom knives at great prices.

If you are anywhere near Janesville, WI, you need to make this show. More activity in this room than in most knife shows except the Blade show(which is the King of knife shows). They advertise this show a lot, and people keep coming in the doors all weekend long. One notable name left off the last list was Phil Hartsfield, who had a table right in front by the door. At least one or two knifemaker suppliers attend this show. I will be there. Darrel Ralph is also going to be there along side of me. It will be a blast, and Damon's has some great food. See ya there!
