It's that time of year again. The NY Custom Knife Show starts Fri. at 12 noon.

Esav Benyamin and I will be going on Saturday. I get off of work a 7 a.m. and we will be taking the bus in to Port Authority. We should be getting there around 11 am. I am all for getting together and having lunch.

Actually I'm there all the time I work two blocks away. :D
 
I'm a comin' ! I took a couple days off work and I will be "busing in" on Thursday (arrive 9:40PM)

As usual, I'll be there Friday before the opening bell. I'm looking forward to both the show & to seeing everyone again. Any new stag handled beauties to show off, Phil? Which Dozier is on your radar screen this time, Wally? See ya there!
 
I'll be going there for the first time. When should I arrive...meaning, is there a mad rush in the beginning where collectors come in and snap up all the best stuff? I've been to 2 other knife shows this past year, both times arriving later in the day and have noticed some tables that seemed sold out, and others that seemed mostly sold.
 
Cameras are ok.
Get there early if you're looking for something specific.
The best thing is to get an honorary Guild membership-you get in an hour before the show opens to the general public.:D That's where I'll be.
 
Gonna miss this one guys- Can't swing the time off from the new gig. See you all in March.

Anklepocket, your wife is right. You DO need supervision! You might come home with a new R.J. Martin knife or two. :)

I sure wish I could make this show, but distance and current financial situation dictate otherwise. :(
 
So close yet so far from the fair city of Pittsburgh. I'll have to stay home :( , bring me back something special though :D
 
Hey there, men! Count on me in the opening lineup. Can't make Sat, but won't need to. I'll be broke and my head might pop by then... ;)

I'm there till closing on Friday with dinner plans @ 'Jack Rose' Steakhouse (47th and Eighth - 8:30pm) along with a few other KnifeKnuts. Got a table for eight with only four confirmed. :( It's a fifteen minute walk up Eighth Ave from the show. Anyone care to join us? Send me a note. coop747@optonline.net

Looking forward to this. I have a set of knives being delivered that was ordered here last year. You'll see.... :)

As luck has it I just sold one of our un-needed vehicles with the deal to be transacted on Friday. If you see my wife, she'll be wearing the shirt that says "I'm With Douche-Bag" and an arrow pointing to me. And one RJ Martin Knife is enough for me. Those things are very dangerous (I mean that in a very loving, positive kind of a way).
