Should be a great show! We'll meet at Tim Langston's booth in the front of the main building between 9:00 and 9:30 AM on Sat. Count on me, but I may have to do a "Raymond" and be a little late. Chris, let me know if I should swing by and pick you up

Please note that we will have our customary luncheon at Bubba's BBQ, intersecion of Sunset Rd. and I-77,starting between 11:30 and noon on Sat. Pictures will be taken so comb your hair,brush your teeth and clean your nails!

David, Hi I am new to the forum, but not to the show at Charlotte. I always enjoy going down as it is only an hour drive for me. Not sure what time I am going to get there but It is nice to know that a bunch of knifenuts will be roaming the premises. Maybe I'll run in to this group, but if I don't, then good luck on finding whatever you may be looking for!

Denice and I will be there. Blazzer, a new forum member from this area, will be riding with us.

Rumour has is that competition for the "Best of Bubba show" is going to be particularly tough this month. I suppose I should bring my Daltemesis

Art - If you go back about 4 months in this (general) forum, you'll see some pics from the last Charlotte show. That way you can recognize some of the NC Knuts. An alternative is to look for the guy with the biggest neck knife - that will be DavidB.

I am coming down with 2 friends of mine in my friends van. we plan to stay Friday and Saturday AND part of Sunday down there.THese guys have never been to Charlotte or this show and i am sure they will have a good time. See you guys Saturday morning!
 
Mark, took your advice and pulled up lunch at Bubba's from 4-09-00. What a fine looking bunch! Yeah, yeah, yeah I'm talking about them blades. On a serious note though, I may try to catch up with you fellows and talk a little knifespeak. I've got family and friends that like to look and fondle the blades but don't have the passion it takes to really appreciate these knives. As certified knifenuts it is always a pleasure to get to talk with others in which that passion does burn. Hope to catch up with you on Saturday.

Ahem...Kelly (and David), who got to that last show first? How soon we forget. Just for that, I'm leaving tonight and sleeping in my car at the Metrolina. BTW, what gives with the selling of the fancy one? Don't tell me that you finally mustered up the kajones to spine whack it and it failed!

Tim didn't have any last weekend in Columbia. I haven't heard anything about the LCCs being released yet.

Well folks it was nice to bump into ya'll and I only wish I had been able to stay longer and enjoyed some bbq along with some knifespeak. Next show that rolls around that will have the group present will be the one that I will strive to make a day of it. Again it was nice to meet you all. And you weren't lying about the biggest neck knife, an Al Mar Pathfinder?
