I thought a lowest serial number roll call of a South African made fixed blades would be interesting. I will throw mine in the ring:

Lowest for me was a Mark IV that was the 87 knife made in South Africa
Made last part of 1985 as per Ann during the "Rambo" craze
Had a total re/furbish done in "Camo" including a new sheath, It was sweet
Sure wish I had it today, But we all know how that goes  Rick

How do you identify a knife made in SA? Where they all marked as such on the knife and/or sheath, or did some knives have numbers only? Thanks,

I have a mk v number 61 its a south africa knife but its not marked made in south africa...I have seen number 62 and it is stamped made in south africa. ....did anyone here get the south africa dagger on ebay last week ..It was going for 650 buy it now....I wanted that thing so bad....sigh

So it is SA if it is numbered with or without SA stamped on the blade, as long as it doesn't say USA? Thanks,
