To roll up small eg 64" bandsaw blades (once you're done with 'em) back into their neatly-coiled-easy-fit-in-the-bin form...
- hold the blade with one hand at the 4 o'clock and one at the 8 o'clock position
- hold the 12 o'clock against a wall and apply upwards pressure
- allow the thing to coil and viola!

While I would not dispute your methods I tink you need to work on one hand technique!
