Roman Hunting knife or what ????

I have purchased a large stag handles hunting knife, it is 14 1/2 inches total in length, I dont understand the wording on each side of the blade, one side says , Irvefel Inox and the other side says 58 rue de rome, can anyone help me, it is such a beautifull heavy knife.

I think it's a stainless steel French knife.

Inox is the standard european word for stainless steel. Rue is the french word for street.Rue de rome =rome street.Ask at he Community section, European Knife Community.
