Roman/Saxon/King Arthur-ish Knives

I am expanding my horizons a bit. I got into the axes, hatchets and 'hawks and found myself intrigued with the weapons of Roman era weapons. Obviously we're talking fixed blade knives, so what patterns are out there to be had?

Now that is scary... what got me into this was the movie King Arthur (w/Clive Owen) plus I just started a series called "Rome." Didn't see your thread in time!
