I have a folder made by Ron Little a lot of years ago. As with most all his folders, this one is so difficult to open due to the spring tension that I never use it. Is there a way to lessen the tension?

Thanks for posting Tony’s fix. There have been several threads on the topic but nobody has posted Tony’s method.

Important to note that in the video Tony uses a plastic leather tooling hammer. I've used that, or a rawhide tooling hammer with the same results. A gunsmith hammer with the nylon face would be a good option too. If you don't have a bench anvil you can just use the edge of your wife's best dining room table....
