This beautiful Bowie knife was created by members of the North Carolina Custom Knifemakers Guild to Raffle off in support of the Guild. The blade is 10 and the knife is 15 overall.
The incredible damascus blade was forged by Ron Newton, and then flat ground by Barry Jones. Andrew McLurkin crafted the nickel silver and blued steel guard with four-sided guard shoulder. John Poythress created the ivory and nickel silver box handle, and then it was tastefully relief craved by Jesse Houser. The blade was heat treated and finished by Wayne Whitley, and then the knife was final assembled by Tommy McNabb and Tim Scholl. Photo by Andrew McLurkin.
As you can see from the picture the knife is a real beauty. If you are going to the Blade Show the knife will be at Barry and Phillip Jones table along with raffle tickets for those wanting a chance. Guild members will also have tickets in the next couple of weeks for those interested.
Thanks for Looking!
