There is no end to the good...no...GREAT people we have on this forum, aka the Porch:cool:

Last week I commented on Deans wonderful single blade green pick bone New Day TC. I just love the green pick bone:thumbup:

I came home for lunch today and Nanc had a package sitting on the steps for me. Not expecting anything I anxiously opened the box.

Well to my surprise is a fabulous single blade green pick bone TC!!! I'd been wanting one and Ron being Ron sent me this one!!! He said in the enclosed letter that he read my post telling Dean of my quest to find one... WOW...THANK YOU RON!!!

So many on this forum are kind, considerate, courteous and concerned about others, I honestly have found no place quite like this traditional sub forum of ours:thumbup:

Please look at this beauty, again, THANK YOU RON you are very kind my friend!!!

You and Ron are both assets to the forum Paul :) Beautiful evergreen pick bone on that one.

Great looking TC. And a kind gesture. I'm proud to be a small part of this community. :)

Paul, I hope you enjoy that TC half as much as I enjoyed gifting it to such a deserving friend. :)

Paul, beautiful knife! That green pick bone is great! And Ron, incredibly generous of you! Nice work!

I am just sitting here chuckling to myself guys !!! Two good guys and a very nice knife !!! Way to go Ron and congrats Paul !!!

That is MEGA, Ron! Congrats to you, Paul! I've got to say, I think that's some of the best green bone coloring I've seen yet. Just beautiful!

Two Great guys, and may I say both very respected for such obvious reasons.

Thank you Ron for being such a great traditionalist. Paul - VERY well deserved my friend.

Very thoughtful gesture and exquisitely covered knife. I really like the copperhead pick and often wish I hadn't let it go. I have to admit that the evergreen pick is quite alluring as well.

Yowza...I just went in again and checked out the jig work of that knife - this is THE closest anyone has got to getting near Schrade's PeachSeed ...... SO SO close!

That GREEN Bone is something else...mind you I'm not to sure if that is the veil of Green ENVY I am looking through at this moment !

Ron..that must have been very hard wrapping that knife up and saying goodbye to it.... you do talk to your knives Ron? ...do you?...I do...doesnt everyone.......... just one?

Wow, Ron, what a great gift! Paul, you have a beauty there.

A couple of great guys who give much joy to the porch through their passion for Traditionals.:thumbup:

Fantastic stuff guys, two of our finest long-standing members. A great-looking knife too :)
