I hate to keep on this subject; however, these are two highly anticipated knives from Spyderco (for me at least). I thought the SPOT would be arriving in August and the Ronin was to be at a later point. I do know both of these knives have made it to the new product pages on the Spyderco website. If anybody has some information, please share.

I feel exactly the same way. $$$'s burning a hole through my pocket waiting for these knives to appear.

Hey, Sal, what about it? Is there any updated information available?

is the ronin like the custom by snody???(ie neck knife, short, 2" blade, kinda like a BM stryker blade, kind of, and chisel grind??)

The Spyderco Ronin will be three inch flat ground blade as opposed to the custom chisel grind and VG-10 as opposed to BG-42. Mike Janich liked the way Mike Snody does a chisel grind and Mr. Janich like the way Spyderco does a flat grind. My custom Ronin is set up for IWB appendix (felony) carry and has a neck option the Spyderco version will be set up for neck and maybe accept a tek-lok. In short the Spyderco Ronin will be like the custom sans the chisel grind.

Here Spot, Here boy!
(Sorry 'bout that...)
Any word when these will hit the dealers?

Hi guys. The SPOT sheath mold is finished and we'll be shipping next week. Ronin FB is expected to be shipping the end of this month.

The Ronin is 3" blade, VG-10, flat ground edge to spine both sides.
