I know the knife was designed for defence but it makes one heck of a utility knife. I've used mine to scrape rust from the outside of steel pipes and have cut rubber, leather, kydex, styrofoam, wood, plastic and , of course, steak.

I'm not afraid to abuse the edge because it is so amazingly easy to sharpen due to its VG10 steel and its straight cutting edge. When I used it to scrape rust, it ended up like a butter knife. After a minute or so on the Sharpmaker, it was like a razor again.
