Roofing Hatchet ID?

Hi guys!
I got this roofing hatchet today. Just removed a ton of rust, as it was completely covered with no gray in sight. I need help IDing if possible please :)
-very deep pitting
-number "3" is visible in first picture
-looks very very worn and feels ancient.
I'd be happy to get a century/decade estimate (make would be amazing).

Thanks! I noticed that it weighs only a bit over a pound--is it possible the 3 refers to another measurement, or perhaps model? Excuse my ignorance--not familiar with these at all.
Some manufacturers used a number at times to indicate size and stamped this number on the heads. I am guessing that that is what the "3" is on yours. Here is a snip from a catalog page showing this:

Note the above is just an example that shows the use of size numbers. Also if the "3" on your axe is in fact a size number it may not correspond in blade width (CUT) and weight in the snip. I do not know if these numbers were consistent across manufacturers.
