hi all,
does anyone know where I can get a plain edge rookie? am I correct to say that the rookie is the size of the delica but with g10 scales and ats-34 steel? thanks:)
 
Smoky Mountain Knife Works had them on closeout (discontinued)- was probably a year ago or so. Don't know if they have any left- super little knife- do a search and/or ask around- maybe you can pry one loose from somebody.

The rookie I won on ebay was a NIB Rookie with a serrated blade.
I just checked ebay (4/30/02 at 20:00) and there are several more open for bid - all under $50. but all with serrated blades. But, if the knife variation exists it usually will turn up on ebay within a month. Happy searching.
 
I had a real hard time finding mine in PE.I have only seen one PE on Ebay and it was used.
 
The Rookie is a "mini" Police. Its smaller and sleeker than the Delica.. The G-10 and SS version both in SE and PE have been discontinued.. But there are some which are still circulating around knifestores and on-line knife dealears.. ;)

I do know where a SS Rookie is.Email me if interested.I think they wanted 84.99 for it.

spyken, I've got a plain edged rookie in G-10 that I'd be willing to part with. I'm stationed overseas with the Army right now, and the knife is being stored at my parents house. I'll see if I can get them to ship it for me if you're interested. Please communicate via e-mail if you would like it. I have the box too, and I'd say it's in very good used condition. I've sharpened it on my Edge-Pro, so the edge is very sharp as well.
 
roadrunner, thanks for the offer. can't make any purchases as yet as I just plonked some hard-earned moolah on an endura. I do like the rookie tho (the G10!)sigh....btw are you stationed in Asia by any chance?
