Rookie needing help with old axe head

This is my first day on this site I hope to find help with an old dug up axe head with a curve in it and a strange bevel to the cutting edge. I would appreciate any help, I have some good pictures but don't know if I can post them here.

You certainly can post pictures, just need to post upload them to a hosting site like photobucket first.
FYI it's usually near impossible to identify a dug up axe head unless it has a very distinct identifying feature as stamps are usually not visible.
