Decided to test a couple knives today and put them on camera. Had some fun as usual, always fun to put your tools through a workout.

The knives were a Spyderco Military in S90V sprint run from bento box shop and a Spyderco Southard in 204P. Both knives performed excellent as expected. I sharpened both knives on the wicked edge to a 30 degree inclusive edge staring with 400 grit diamond stones through .6 micron ceramic stones and stropped from 3.5 micron to .5 micron diamond spray.

Spyderco Military:
Blade steel: S90V
Blade length: 3.90''
Overall length: 9.44''
Blade thickness: .146''
Behind the edge thickness: .028''

Spyderco Southard:
Blade steel: CTS 204P
Blade length: 3.49''
Overall length: 7.99''
Blade thickness: .156''
Behind the edge thickness: .020''

Also these are not reviews, they are just for fun so.....enjoy. Thanks for watching

Nice vids. Thanks. Do I detect some Detroit to PNW heritage? Nice Motown iron in the background.

Thanks for taking the time to post those video's. CPM S90V is a great steel and CTS 204P looks good too, though I haven't tried it yet. I would like to see CPM 154 and S35VN on that type of cutting test because there seems to be some controversy over their performance.

I will try to get those on vid someday, I will be on deployment for the next few months here soon. When I return I will have more vids to put up. I actually have never owned a knife with CPM 154. I think I've had just about everything but that steel, even 154cm, however I've heard the powdered version is much better.

By the way es 204P is very nice, reasonably easy to sharpen as well about like Elmax but not quite as easy as M4.
