If it is anything like the Puukko he made for me it will be very, very good.

From what I understand it is very thick. Take a look at the cross section out on Ragweed.

I imagine it holds an edge, but I think this ax is more designed for splitting. I could be wrong as I haven't put my hands on one.

I too am interested in what others have to say.

Thank you for the link. That was a very detailed review and more than I expected .

The review basically sold me on the Roselli. Everything he said was what I expected.:D:thumbup:

This one is on the top of my wish list.

Cool, let us know how you like it. The Roselli knives are supposed to be top notch, so I'm sure the axe will be as well.

i've heard nothing but good things about the Rosellis, from friends who own them.

I had a little fling with Rosellis stuff - some pukkos, leukus and axes.

The puukkos are great, just great - esp the Bearclaw, Carpenter and Hunter. The leukus only so-so and they went soon enough. But the axes are sublime. They cut like chainsaws on adrenaline pills

I keep the edge in shape on a sheet of 1200 grit abrasive paper for dings. 3800 for stropping. Then it is like a razor, as well as a chainsaw. Different animal to the GBs and not comparable, not really. Can really choke up on it too.

I really like the Ros:)
