*********** SOLD *************
Just got this today, but have other financial priorities. This knife came with a secondary edge and was okay sharp, but I carefully removed the secondary bevel and brought the edge to nasty-sharp. I have cut paper and done a little whittling with the knife enough to know that it is an outstanding wood working knife. Other than my sharpening handy work, the knife has not been carried and is in new condition. Here is a description from a website:
Ultra High Carbon Steel Blades - Following years of research and experiments, Mr. Roselli has developed his own way of processing Ultra High Carbon steel (carbon content 1.5 - 2.0%). The amazing edge holding properties of his blades result from the amount of hard carbides produced in the forging process and meticulous attention to detail. Each blade is tempered to Rockwell 64 - 66 and sharpened to a razor sharp edge. They will easily hold their edge twice as long as tools made from conventional tool steel. The handles are made of kiln dired birch and each knife comes with a leather sheath. UHC Carpenter's Knife is a great belt knife for use around the home and shop. The blade length is 3-3/8" and overall length is 7-3/4".
With Finnish blacksmith Heimo Roselli, functionality is a priority. His knife making embodies a simple principle, use the best materials available. Mr. Roselli has been featured numerous times in the Finnish press and on television. Roselli knives are easy to sharpen and are sold with a three year guarantee. Roselli's philosophy is that any cutting task should be done with pleasure and should not be spoiled by the use of poor tools. The more you use his knives, the more you will appreciate them.
$85.00 shipped in the CONUS. Not looking for any trades, thanks.
Paypal cash transfer and Domestic shipping strongly preferred and will be considered first. Please email me at _geodesic@excite.com (there is an underscore before the w) if you would like this knife. Thanks for looking.
