Hello Knife People,
I am about to hit the buy button on a Roselli UHC Hunter (R200). This knife has been on the list for a long time, but now I got a rather good deal (I guess) and I have to make up my mind. I like what I read about the steel and I think I'll like the handle. My only concern would be the weird short, wide tang that Roselli puts on his knives. Please let me know if you had any issues with the tangs in long term use of Roselli knives (from the pictures of blanks that I have seen his tangs look more or less the same).

I have three Roselli knives; one carpenter and a UHC carpenter and UHC hunter. All are outstanding knives. Came razor sharp. No issues with tangs that I've encountered. I use the plain blade carpenter most as UHC steel is a real b**** to sharpen. Better have some diamond hones on hand. IMHO Roselli makes great knives.

I had a UHC carpenter. Like Rich S said, I had difficulty in sharpening it. Great little knife, but it went away.

Never had an issue with Roselli's. Always came sharp, and stood up to what I put them through.

Thank you for the input. I hope I'll be careful and touch it up in time, I imagine what resharpening would take! That knife will be coming my way real soon. And I will probably brag about it on this forum.
