Thanks for looking.

Between the Rosewood and it's sapwood, and the filework, you have a very interesting and elegant looking handle. I'm glad people have started using the sapwood pieces like this. It adds some flair in the right knives.

I've started buying mid century Danish antiques because I like their simple lines, and I've been focusing on Rosewood because of it's intense beauty ... deep reds and blacks... and now scarcity due to laws. I rarely see Rosewood on knives probably for that reason also, but for those who find it, it makes a great looking handle.

Where did you come across the Rosewood?

It is rosewood burl and I'v had it for years and don't remember where I got it .Thanks for the comment.
