Just an FYI.

I know some of you have been trying to find a good price on the now discontinued rosewood folding Kalingas.

Well, I just got the A.G. Russell weekly specials email, and they are on sale for a terrific price. http://www.agrussell.com/weekly-specials/c/2886/sid/ed1002-2n/
If you've been on the fence it's time to jump off and get your rosewood Kalinga.;) BTW -- he's got the fixed blades onsale as well
 
Nice find, that's a good price if the shipping is fairly cheap.

I'm kind of amazed at their write-up for that. The initial screen didn't state that it was S30V and they didn't even mention that it's discontinued and it's a last chance deal.

Kind of lame marketing.

Oh well......more for us that way.

I noticed that jb and wondered myself when someone would notice and snap 'em up. I have enough Kalingas for myself. But I will get back to you next month about those other things I mentioned. :)

Technically, this is deal-spotting. The right way to go about it would be to post it as a response. If some people really have been trying to find a good price, post it where they're asking, not in a spammy thread of its own.
 
Yes, I've hit the "enough" level myself. Got all stocked up a couple of weeks ago.
