Rosewood SAK's?

A co-worker (female) who actually LIKES knives (& is carrying a CRKT M16-13) has a question: Her brother in law (I think) has a small SAK w/ a Rosewood handle & he has just broken the blade. I have not seen the knife, and therefore cannot say for sure what model, etc.
Question 1: Who produced them?
Question 2: Are they still available?
Many Thanx,
Mike

The mystery has been solved- somewhere in an "executive gifts" catalog (desktop putting greens, "#1 Boss" coffee mugs, etc.) a Rosewood SAK (Victorinox) has turned up.
I'm waiting for her to bring in the catalog because now I want one too...

It's a fine line between "a hobby" and "mental illness".

I don't know if the knives in question were done by Michael Yoh, but he has been handling SAK's in Rosewood and other exotic woods for many years. He has done mine, and it is actually pictured on his site.

You can link to it here: http://ark.ship.edu/~mbyoh/

Enjoy and tell him I sent you.

Rugger, there used to be a guy who advertised in the classifieds of all the magazines that he made replacement wood handles for all the SAK models. I'll try to find it.
