Rosie Pricing?

Is there anything out there as a reference for pricing a Rosie? I'm thinking of offering up a trade for one, but I have no clue what to offer, let alone what to expect in return. I'd like to snag a nicer version, but I feel like I'm going to either end up low balling or getting ripped off with no frame of reference. I really wish the trend of removing the sale price would end. It just makes fair trading a bigger pain than it needs to be.

I’d say a used one a sell value of 750-800. Brand new 850-925. Depends on variants. Trade really depends what you’re trading into but I’d say the sale values would be a decent blueprint

I have a Shiro Stellar I was thinking of listing. It's a bit above that price range. Did they do many variants in the $1,100 range? If not, I might have to do a Koenig or something else instead. Thanks for the reply by the way. I thought this post was just going to go unnoticed.

In reference to your mention of sellers editing out prices.....

It would likely only be valid for a few months at most. Raw materials and shipping across the board keep going up drastically every couple months. The same knife is going to cost more in six months than it does today.

One reason people edit out prices is because someone will try to commission a knife and get upset at the price because they want the price they saw in a sale thread from 3 years ago.

You can always have cash go either way in a trade so it’s a fair deal. I much prefer my stellar to the OZ but they are quite a bit different and everyone’s needs /wants differ

I'd recommend going to r/knife_swap on Reddit to do your pricing research. It's extremely active and you can't edit out the price as a rule there. A very nice resource.
