SO I got tired of tripping over my tooling arms, so I built a rotatable tooing arm tree. It works better than I expected it would, in the next day or so I will weld up one more toolholding option towards the top, why hold two tools when you can hold three, right?

Yep thats exactly what I did. 1.5 inch square tubing with 1/4 wall. I used 1" round rod welded to the base, rod is 6-7 inches long, It was actually about .020 too large so turned it down slightly until it would go into the square. Turns wonderfully and smoothly.

I have a similar rack, without the rotation. I built two and mounted them on both sides of the grinder. Each has four tubes, with them alternately being offset on the left and right sides of the upright. There are also 1/4" and 1/2" rods ( bolts welded on) sticking out the sides of the tubes to hang wheels, rollers, and a couple box wrenches.

When the new shop is built, they will join some others on a 2'X3' rolling accessory cart that will hold all the jigs ,wheels, arms, belts, etc.

You know a marriage of what you built coupled with the rotating feature would be the perfefct tooling arm tree. Especially if you had quite a few accessories for your grinder.

Yes, when they are mounted on the cart, they will be dropped on upright pieces of 1.5" pipe that will be welded to the cart corners. That way they all can rotate.
