Ok so I know Roton makes a great balisong, the Monarch. I've seen nothing but praise for it. I'm actually on the waiting list for one and I'm very excited.. I also know they make a few other knives (most of which are only on knifemart), but I know absolutely nothing about them.

I was just curious to know if anyone knew anything about this company. The knives are all extremely limited so is it actually a company or is it just one person? Has anyone used any of their knives other than the Monarchs and are they any good? They're pricey so I'd assume so but I'd still like to know. One thing I have found is that they often sell to US troops, and if there is ever a waiting list, anyone in the military is automatically sent to the top of the list, which is pretty cool. When I talked on the phone to preorder my Monarch, the person I spoke to said "we are very proud of that knife" and mentioned the Knifezoid review on it. Is the company associated with Knifemart or was she just saying they were proud that they're the only people that supply it? Or was I just getting typical salesperson crap?

Ok so that was a lot of questions. I don't care how many are answered, I'm just curious, but any information on them is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You probably spoke with Rich, who "is" Knifemart, and "is" Roton. Great guy, great tools.

Ok. I was once just a customer of theirs waiting for a Balisong. Well I still am waiting... Mine should be on its way. Anyways! I work for Roton now as a sales rep. I cover Arkansas, Iowa and Missouri Territory. Yes the company is owned and Run by Richard Kicklighter. He spends countless hours in his shop working on knives. Yes the Military is priority #1. That being said the Talon Dagger they make is almost hard to keep in stock. Yes... I'd have to say that Knifezoid review is by far the best and only review on the Revurse Curve Bowie. I'm hoping he'll put some on dvd format so I can use them as promos. You probably talked to his wife. She handles all customer service and transactions. They both are the most down to earth people ever. Neither one has ever talked to me like they got stick up their ass. Very frank and polite. One last thing his autos sell through the roof. They are known as the Airwolf and Airwolf Jr. He is working on a new project called X-3 Delta... Another auto. His bali's nolonger come in a standard mirror finish. It is now a tactical bead-blast finish. You can get mirror finish for a small added fee. This hasn't been officialy announced yet, it is now affective.
