Okay, so I stole the title from the recording industry:) Kevin asked if I was bringing anything to Blade to show around and this is the one that I am bringing for sure......assuming nothing gets screwed up. 10 inch W2 ST24 style blade, 415ss guard, maple handle. No wire or carving this time. I probably won't get it done by Blade because of my travle schedule, but I am going to try to carve, glue and grind a basswood sheath and have Paul cover it. I stuck the thing together to see how much tuning I need to do to the handle. You never really finish sanding this style of handle, mind you..lol:thumbup::D

That looks great Joe - I hope I get to coon finger it. ;)

Roger
LMAO...........coon finger. Dude.........you are Canadian. What are you using Ozark hillbilly expressions for?:D This handle style is a PITA to shape, but when you "coon finger" it, you know right away that Mr. Moran knew what he was doing when he came up with this design. (in case ya didn't know that already about him in general...lol) You can tell immediately if one part needs to be sanded down even a tiny bit more just by feel.

Looks very good, but I would love to see a much larger image.
I would love to be able to oblige you, sir, but my posting skills are as abysmal as my photgraphy skills. I am attaching pics on BF and they limit you to 100k and you get the size they give you.

Me too....but I'd definitely keep the background material. Nice box Joe. :D
Sorry........next time. I'll see if I can find a trashy nekkid Bulgarian girl to hold it for the photo. I knows what you likes:D

She was a Czech....but you're in the right ballpark. :p
