Rough Rider Slip Joint Question ?

While looking at a Morakniv whittling knife youtube video I discovered the Rough Rider knives.

After reading all the positive reviews about the Rough Riders I decided they would make affordable gifts.

I really like a slip joint medium stockman style knife.

The canoe and sowbelly are of particular interest as well.

I have heard some of the RR's have real strong back springs.

My question to you Rough Rider knife owners is, which of the models are nail breakers?
Some of the people on my gift list may not have good thumb nails or also may not be accustomed to opening pocket knives.

Another question is about the type of steel used in Rough Rider knife blades.
Are all the blades made from 440A stainless? I don't know much about stainless blades but do know puma makes a real good ss blade and Buck makes a ss that is too hard to sharpen quickly.

If you want to educate me about blade materials I am open to learning.

Open to all coments and recommendations.

Thanks

I've been carrying one of their peanuts every day since about mid-summer. Great li'l knife.

Im on my fifth RR and i love' em. They re great for the price, and they take and hold a pretty good edge, mine shaves arm hair easily they re usually shaving sharp out of the box. The one I have now has a couple of nailbreaker blades, but I like it.

In your opinion are the shorter blades the ones that are hardest to open?
Need to get a folder for a first time knife owner.

I have a moose knife and a peanut and neither of them are nailbreakers, including the small peanut. I plan to pick up more RR knives in the future, and I have a couple on my Christmas list as well.
