While this is not specifically about the Rough Rider knives, but more on the trip it made or attempted to make to get to me yesterday. On the big river store I ordered a small whittler to fill my watch pocket, wanting one a bit larger than the Case half whittler I had and just something to fill in while I search for just the right one.

So all was going well, until yesterday, seems the package stalled out just down the road from me, made it that far at least. But, no further, I contacted the contacts on the big river asking sup? They of course would not know but turns out the knife had slipped loose of it's packaging and UPS was sitting there holding an empty padded envelope. At least they did not try to deliver it, but reported it back to that big river place. Not so much fun, I was hoping to take it with me tomorrow to the Lewisburg PA knife show, just to have but will pace the floors there and look for something suitable to get to fill that watch pocket space ;)

If any of you are planning to go there tomorrow, I'll be the guy walking around looking for small whittlers :)

Good luck in your search Gary. I'm jealous of you. I wish I had a knife show to go to, that wasn't a seven hour drive.
I should keep my eye out for ones happening in the north eastern states, I live in Ottawa.

Sorry about your lost RR, I've been tracking one that went from Sulpher OK to Oregon, left OR, went back to OR, left OR and now shows delayed...I'm in NC so thought it strange that it would go to OR on its way to me LOL. I'll call that one the traveler if it ever finds its way to me :)
 
Appreciate the well wishes but I'm guessing the Rough Rider is sitting along side the road some where between being shipped from one spot to the next, the big river place has refunded the purchase, at first I had an email saying 'Sorry for this unfortunate situation, we will refund your money once the item has been returned' I was like uh? it's LOST, lol so a quick chat with someone...hard to tell just who, and they said no worries.

Nice, older folders, not sure I will keep both, but it will be hard to pick just one!

Ended up deciding to sell the Moore Maker folder Both are really nice but liking the stag on the Black Forest a little better.
