While this is not specifically about the Rough Rider knives, but more on the trip it made or attempted to make to get to me yesterday. On the big river store I ordered a small whittler to fill my watch pocket, wanting one a bit larger than the Case half whittler I had and just something to fill in while I search for just the right one.
So all was going well, until yesterday, seems the package stalled out just down the road from me, made it that far at least. But, no further, I contacted the contacts on the big river asking sup? They of course would not know but turns out the knife had slipped loose of it's packaging and UPS was sitting there holding an empty padded envelope. At least they did not try to deliver it, but reported it back to that big river place. Not so much fun, I was hoping to take it with me tomorrow to the Lewisburg PA knife show, just to have but will pace the floors there and look for something suitable to get to fill that watch pocket space
If any of you are planning to go there tomorrow, I'll be the guy walking around looking for small whittlers
