Rough Ryder High Carbon Series

Really liking these latest offerings.
Carbon blades with a titanium coating to resist corrosion. G10 scales.
Perfect f&f, lovely feel and weight.

Anyone else have these yet?

I have the Colt version of that canoe.
Great knife.

I think SMKW moved the carbon steel Colt line over to Rough Rider when they lost the licence for whatever reason, to use the Colt name.

I have a couple of nice Colts (not carbon) - didn't realise they were discontinued.

I also have the Colt Ti-coated carbon steel G-10 canoe. It's a wonderful knife, and I'm sad that the Colt brand is now defunct. I must admit that coating a carbon steel blade seems somewhat curious to me, but I suppose different people prefer carbon steel blades for different reasons.

I was just comparing this to another RR Canoe and realised the difference in size.
The high carbon is much more substantial with thicker blade stock...
