Rough Ryder RR1901 Miniature Bowie

Strange! I ordered and received a Rough Ryder RR1901 Miniature Bowie knife the other day. It was a new SMKW listing, called a "Mini Alamo Bowie" on their website, and labeled "Old Texas Bowie" on the box. It is no longer listed on their website, and no other vendor seems to have it, and no mention of it on the internet. Apparently it was only available for a very short time, and has now vanished. It is really nothing special, but I collect Bowie knives and thought the miniature would be a nice addition. RR also has a "Cajun Bowie Miniature" which I bought previously. It just strikes me as odd that they marketed the RR1901 and then suddenly discontinued it after about a week or two. I'm wondering if it is just out of stock, or if I have a rare RR knife?

Interesting, haha. Even if it's "rare", it's still an RR. So, you know, use it, use it well!

I have a Rough Ryder Cotton Samper knife and the F&F is better than a Case - it made me more selective with Slipjoints.

Unfortunately, "fit and finish better than a Case" doesn't say much these days.
