Rough time getting my large micarta, but it turned out well! (video)

The package containing my large micarta seb was lost in the mail. I was pretty upset about it, as it was only insured for 100 dollars.

Fast forward a few hours, I get a phone call saying they found my package, and that I need to come get it. I explained that I have a late class and I'm stuck on campus, so I won't be able to pick it up before the post office closes. To my surprise, they sent out a post office employee to hand deliver my sebenza to me on campus. I was shocked needless to say.

It all worked out well, so here I sit waiting on class to start with my seb in hand.

It was likely a blend of Southern hospitality, in which I am a believer, and CRK magic. That knife found its way to you. Call it luck, but to the naysayers who proclaim Sebenzas to be nothing more than another knife or tool, I say fooey!

Prof.

Why didn't I think of that? CRK magic! It sounds so... brilliant!

I am hooked on these knives. My collection of Strider knives are in grave danger of being sold off.

I was shocked when I saw that video on youtube. I'm not sure if the same thing would happen here. I've had a package thrown at my door before, but luckily it was just the corner of a planner that got messed up

Glad you got it man, that's gotta be a good feeling after the worry. (Oh and BTW next time you head to Dreamland if you shoot me a PM I'll paypal you some funds and be yer best friend if you'll send me a couple bottles of sauce.) MAN do I miss that stuff!! :D :D

Thats awesome man...You sure as hell would never see that happen around here. How do you like the Micarta inlays? I am begging to feel that smidgin of urgency that seems to come right before I buy a new knife....I hate this feeling, it means i'm going to spend more money that I don't have.

Congrats mate. It's good to see a potential disaster turn into a great day ! :)

Thanks guys!

And yes Haze, it was turning into a disaster. I was literally nauseous about it for a while just because I was potentially going to be in the hole for 400 dollars. I was so excited when I made the video in the OP. I literally had just gotten it in my hands, so I'm sure I sound like a giddy child. :D

I'm saying nothing man. :p

I'll have to bring a few more knives to Blade next year and we can all have a look see at some CRK goodies.
