after the last time for the 7 time of checking the coffie pot is off
we go on the way ...
dark: 30 in the morning and the inter state is packed!!
stop to check the tires several times and all is ok

"i gota go now" from the wife so we pull in to rest
and on way out~~~ flat tier on trailer...
brand new tires with nibs on them went bad..
big 4 inch bubble on the side ... was so tempted to pop it with the 110!
any way..got to lay down to change it and have a spare but it is ty tyed in so had to use the hunter after all to cut the plastic straps to get the spare loose

going down road with a wv made trayler: made from the bed of a busted up ford
from the back comeing up on it it looks like a lowered truck not a trayler and every bump it bounces..
so every time a LEO comes up he runs the tag!!! them finds it is NOT a truck he speeds away ,...
so i have to behave ... that is hard for me!
the roads that in the van dont bother me but were they have started to work they have big BIG pot holes
every time i hit one i pulled 30 lb of vacume on a fabric seat in the van!!!
man that truck bed only jumped like that whem i went in to the field to have some farm roller coster thrills cross the pastrue when it was still on the truck!!!
got in to gorga and the wife had to stop in to claxton to see were thy make the frute cake at !
come to ffind out it is a famley busness jest like buck kives!!!
one of the grand sons gave us the story and mini toure and some of the frishest fruth cake i ever tastes as it was jest made that tuesday!
well a worth wihile stop for the wife it was
but a few hr later we made a wrong turn and come out of one of the deepest draging ditch for an drive way yet...
got 3 blocks on the worhgn street and smoke jest poring from the trayler
omg berring or real fire or aal
nothing cheep or easy!!! and in goporga yet!
well went back to this gass station were they still come out to pupmp gas and they said
we seen ya and thought ya was on fire and was wateing for the fire engine to come by

well they let me back the trayler in the the bay use the lift and i droped the tires and axal and springs
found the frame had hit so hard it sheared the axal pins and the tire was rrubbing on the fender of the bed !

well no u bolts to replace the bent ones so hanmner time with a vise
some used head boaltys some ty tys and in a looong jiffy i put it all back togeather with some .25 " spacer to get better clearence ont he tier
only 20 bucks (cash not knives) for use of the lift as they missed an oil chan ge
and on my way with a big thank you to the people of ga.!
in a bit i was pulled over and sureched in the mid of a long emphty road
pruison break and pulled to make suire we had no one in the van with us
and dont pick up any hitch kers!
oh well
the on through the most famas speed traps of florida and haveing my tag run again for the umpteenth time
florida inspedtion to make sure we did not have any calforinal ornages
finley got HOME and then had to clean up from mouse in the house
befor the wife said time to turn in ...
here i was ready to stab the mices with a 110 if any deared or play throwing knives with it ...
rough .
and am at sister in laws on inter net access
but that is ok as she has stuff to fix

Wow Dave! I am not really sure what you went through but it did not sound like a picnic! I'm glad no one got hurt.
I think i saw that fruit cake place on the TV. It showed how the make them and everything. Family owned business and every year, just before Christmas, they hire half the town to keep up with the sales.
Didn't know there was that big of a demand for tire chocks. :D

...LOL...Only person I ever seen could tell a story like you Dave is ol' Andy Devine when he read outa that big ol' jungle book for us kids on Saturday mornings...:p ...

dave...
Sounds like you had a rough time of it.Sorry to

Come on dave tell us about the knives at the show. did you get any Bucks?

Did you make it to the knife show?

Jeff

WOW--- Cutting fruitcake with a 110... now THERE's an endorsement for 420HC and Buck's quality control! The stuff would make good 1/4" spacer, usually, if you could cut it.

Wow....What a road trip!!!!! Hope the LEO's did not take your Jar!!!!!!
