I have not posted any work I have been doing so here are 2 I have roughed out.,I still am haveing a hard time with pictures,I guess I will learn as I go.Please give me some input on what you think.These knive will be made of D2 and will have a hand rubbed satin finsh to 600 grit.

the blade length on the one with the recurved blade is a little over 3 1/2 iches the OAL of it is right at around 8 inches.
 
Nathan those show a lot of style, great job, can't wait to see what they look like finished! What do you have in mind for the handles?

Nathan - looks great. You have profiled my favorite blade shape...I'm terribly jealous. :D

On the one with the recurved blade I am going to put some type of good stablized wood,maybe some Box Elder burl or maybe some spalted
maple or some olive burl.the other on that looks like a shark maybe some carlor burl,The lumber lady has alot to pick from,lord knows I may change my mind a dozen time.

I will need some help with the pictures,I took the ones posted here with a cheap Digital camera,The recuvred blade is the one I spoke to you about on the phone.We can get you up here,You will have a turn at that grinder

thanks for the input,I am going to try to keep my design different
and try not copy anyones style.I admire alot of makers on this board and have alot of respect for there talent.I hope to be in that league one day ;)

Nathan - I can't stop looking at your recurve blade - I just love it - it's mesmerizing. I'll give you a ring and we'll get going...:D

Maybe when I get up there (gotta leave "sniper-ville" sometime) we can empty a few of your drawers and get some good knife pics all around...

You are down there were all the shooting is going on.The world is
getting worse,It is a shame that a person can not live there life with out looking over there shoulder:(
 
Very nice designs, Nathan. I like'em both a lot but that re-curve just flat out ROCKS!:D
 
Nathan, as has been stated many times before on these forums, I wouldn't worry about copying anybody else. There are no new knife designs. Everything and anything you can think of has already been done before. Those blades of yours look kind of like something that Greg Lightfoot would turn out, which is a good thing. I like the top two the best. Keep up the good work, and dont forget to post pics of the finished products!
