First, thanks to

for starting this and to everyone who has kept it going. I've lost track of the who has won so far, but here are links to the previous rounds. I think I found them all but please let me know if I missed something.

Second, here's what arrived in the box. I forgot to take the straight razor out of its box, but it's in there.
There are lots of really neat knives that made the decision a bit trickier than I expected. I was drawn to that little Case knife with the stag and the little Old Timer with the liner lock, but realistically, I know I won't carry them enough to justify taking them and so I left them for someone who would use them more. Being of Italian descent, I was briefly tempted by the stiletto, especially when it seemed like I wasn't going to be able to get it back in the box, but that's another one that I can't really see me using enough to justify taking it.
I've been eyeing up the green Frost Razor lock and the translucent Wenger Esquire since they were added in early rounds. Green is my favor color. I have limited resistance to green knives and I like the one handed opening razor style blade. I'm also a sucker for Wenger SAKs and that translucent brown isn't a color I've seen before, so that was an easy pick. Orange is my second favorite color and that Alox SAK started calling my name as soon as I saw it added in the previous round. It will go very nicely with a pumpkin orange jacket that I wear a lot this time of year. I wasn't planning to take any others, but three of the knives I added have boxes so I had to free up more internal flat rate box real estate to make sure everything would still fit in the small size, so I also took the Rough Rider trapper (and its box) and the Opinel, which just didn't want to play box Tetris and fit anywhere.
In the end, I claimed the green Frost razor lock, the translucent Wenger Esquire, the orange Victorinox Pioneer, the Rough Rider trapper and the Opinel.
To the box, I added a JA Henckels copperhead with burled gunstock walnut scales and black velvet-esque pouch it came with, a li'l JA Henckels thingamabob with 2 pen knives and a nail file that fits decently in a keychain pouch (included) designed for a Vic. Classic, a Wenger Apprentice, a Rough Rider "Support the Cause" bartender's knife, and a Marbles Workman knife. I very much hope my additions are considered adequate compensation for what I claimed and that it doesn't seem as though I'm taking advantage.

Doing another GAW but this one is a little different. I'd sort of like this to be more of a pass around/pay it forward.
Im going to put all of these in a box and ship to one winner. They may not like all the knives in there or they may. If they do, the giveaway ends there I suppose. But if they don't, I hope they swap the knife they want for a knife or knives they have in their collection that they'd like to pass on to some one else who may find it more enjoyable via a similar giveaway. It'll be on an honor system and I have faith in all of you It's a variety pack of knives in different costs, so I'm sure everyone will get something they enjoy and want to give a new home.
In order to be considered, please fulfill any of these conditions:
1. be a known member of the Porch (at least a decent amount of meaningful contribution via content or conversation)
2. have donated to the St.Judes Charities/or Bob (hang in there buddy, hope you are doing ok!)
3. have done any sort of giveaway

I'm going to amend in here that entrants need to be active on The Porch. We've had some instances in which entrants who were chosen were no longer around. We're all hobbyists around here, and as such, we understand that life gets in the way sometimes. I'm not going to remove anyone from the list, but until they are available to participate on the porch regularly, they will not be eligible for the box.

), and not even all of them! I’m honestly going to try and take some weight off, mostly I hope by getting one to about 3friends, and lighten things up. I’ll be hard pressed to match some of the tremendous contents, but we’ll get it figured out!
