I Got the box on Saturday as we were leaving town so I took it in the car and had Mrs. Bigfish drive.
Here are the knives that were in the box.
By the time we got to our destination, about an hour later, Mrs. Bigfish had heard every detail of nearly every knife in the box and was just about ready to open the door and dive out of the car!
I didnāt handle all of them because a few of them just arenāt my thing, especially that goofy looking Russlock. I narrowed it down to six: the Eisenhower, the small and large Copperlocks, the Tribal Lock, the Canoe in Cv, and the Swayback Jack. I kept the short listers out and was putting the others away when I thought, āI wonder if you really can open and close that goofy looking Russlock with one hand.ā So I grabbed it out of the box and started playing with it. I figured it out and after a few minutes the āgoofy looking Russlockā was one of my short listers. I played with that thing most of the night and all day Sunday during the football games. The Russlock ended up being the first knife on the ākeeperā list! I also decided on the Eisenhower because I didnāt have one and the Swayback Jack because I have a small but growing collection of them and I missed out on that one a few years ago when it came out. So here are the knives I keptā¦
ā¦and here are the knives Iām adding.
A Tony Bose commemorative Tribal Lock, a Pilot Test Run Trapper in 1095 carbon, and a Halloween Sodbuster Jr.
Here are the rules copied from the last round:
I will draw a winner and send the box to them.
They will choose two, three, or however many knives.
They will replace the knives with some of their own (Case Knives Only).
They will hold their own drawing and pass the box on to the next person.

These rules must follow the box every time or John will call foul.
By default, I am keeping in the running those that were in the last drawing. If you'd like to be added to the list, simply say "I'm in!" Likewise, if you are on the list and you do not want to be there, just let me know.

Iāll let this go for a few days to let more folks join. This was really fun. Whoever wins the next round donāt forget to try all the knives, you never know which one might be your āgoofy Russlock.ā Good luck.

P.S. my thumb is sore from playing with the Russlock so much!
